Blade sharpening tips???

I normally sharpen mine with a hand held angle grinder and try to get them as sharp as possible. I then finish off with a file to make them cut paper. But when you buy new ones they never seem that sharp they always have a square edge where I make a point.
Does everyone else sharpen theirs like this or am I supposed to have the square edge

Do a search on this. We had a disscusion about 2 weeks ago on this. We all pretty much agreed to sharpen them like you're going to shave with them!
