Hour Meter Running Backwards On Walker?

My hour meter is counting down and the amp-meter says no charge at all. It's been like this for six months so I know it's charging. A mechanic told me there is a diode somewhere that may be bad, but he did'nt tell me where.It's on a Walker MT-42 25Command. Oh yea, I replaced the ignition switch. No effect on the problem. Just wondering if any of you have ran across this.

Mayby you have a Walker that was made for the southern Hemisphere.

Ask Southside. The water in the toilet swirls counterclockwise down under ;).

I really cant help you with this one. Amazingly this was NOT one of the problems I had with my original 25HP Kohler on the Walker.
