The tree spikes are a good product but can be cumbersom in hard soils. The best way to do it is to figure how many spikes
you need per tree, ( one spike every 2.5 to 3 ft apart under
drip line of the tree) Multiply that times the number of trees
to get how many boxes you need. Then you figure how long it will take to complete the job. Multiply the hours times your desired labor rate IE $60-70 per hour, add in your cost plus surcharge for your product and any other expenses and you're
in business!
If you don't have one, you may want to rent a gas powered drill
with a 1.25" augur to pre-drill your holes for the spikes. This will save you time and save your back!
Don't give it away! Make sure you get paid for doing it right!
