How much mulch?

I puuled a bone head move,I cleaned out my office and threw away some of my paperwork.I need to know what square footage a yard of mulch will cover at 2-3 inches deep. Thanks in advance.

1 yd = 108 sq' at 3" deep.

I round it to 100 sq' to make it easy to figure.

find the square footage then multiply by .0031 that gives you the cubic yardage to the INCH. eg

10' x 10' x .0031 = .31 cubic yards for 1 INCH for 100 sq ft.

if you want it 3" deep .31 x 3 = .93 cubic yds.
