BHB- you need to raise your prices. My cheapest per acre price is 42.00 and thats on the low end. I do alot of 1/4 acre lots for 25.00 per cut.

That depends on how long it takes 62" is faster than a 36".

The reason Im asking is because Im bidding a property with about 30 large trees in it. they're all 75 ft high or so and dont have any low hanging limbs, but it will take some trimming time. Im sending my bid at 75 dollars for 25375 sq. ft. Including the area with all these trees. I quoted aeration at 150 bucks per time.

What do you guys think? It's for a commercial property...a budweiser distributership=)

And no, i wont take beer for payment...=)

Nick I've been told that but those are the highest price I can get! It wouldn't be too bad if I had a 60" or 72" ZTR but since I have a 52" w/b and sulky I try to stick to lawns 1/2 acre and less. 1/2 acre one here would get $30-35 depending on the neighborhood. I have one at $20 but I do it more as a favor and that is a donation lol it's my elderly neighbors they're not rich and can't do it so I do it and they pay me $20 sometimes she gives me $25 or 20 and a coke if it's a real hot day lol.

Residential...$65 - $95

Commercial...$65 - $125.

A lot depends on how much of a PITA (things like slope, accessability, amount of trimming, obstacles) it is.

I got underbid last spring on a 9+ acre residential lawn---the "winning" bid was $125 per cut---about $14 per acre.

Normally my rate is right on line with what Rodfather wrote although I would have done the 9 acre job for $200 or so---very little trimming and flat ground.

Around here it's $55-75 an acre depending on how much trimming. thats how I price it.

But lately everyone is slashing there own throats to get jobs. I talk to one of my buddies who bid on a big job and got out bid. The final bid for an acre was $20, he or I could not believe it.

Same here. Our 1/2 acres go for around 30 to 40ish. As far as the aeration goes, it's $12. per M.

I average $50-75 an acre depending on the yard. I try and use the Dollar a minute rule if I feal it will take me 1 hour solo I charge $60 dollars with a $35 dollar min. I don't see the need to unload for anything less than that.
