I'm going to deliver and place 12 yrds of red mulch in beds for one of my customers. What seems to be the going rates with jobs this size in other areas around the states? I already have my set price but just for infor purposes I would like to know.

Bed prep for 12 yard area (leaf and junk removal) $50.00
Mulch delivered $35.00 Yard
Instalation of twelve yards in reasonably easy access areas. $384.00
Understand this is all sight unseen so give or take some.

That job around here goes for about $600 +tax +delivery fee. Mulch is not too expensive here. It's about $13 per yard for me.

I charge $80 per yard installed and delivered. But I will add fees for bed prep and/or extra labor if it's a real pain to get to.
So for me $960 + any additional labor needed

yeah I'd be $960.00 also. Depending on amount of bed prep. and accessibility.

I'd charge between $900-1000 depending on prep work with two men and about 6 hours labor.

I have a area around a house thats totallying about 16yrds of mulch, but i can get hardwood mulch for $13/yrd. So my markup on it is like 20% plus delivery $50 plus about 6hrs of work at $35/hr/mn totaling 12hrs. The total figure i gave the homeowner was like $729.00 or something similar. Gotta do that in June after i trim the shrubs then.

price of the mulch + 15%
25/ yard for spreading
35/ hr for prep
plus 2 hrs labor for transportation time
