I have a 22 hp kohler that has a stripped cam gear.Any ideas how this happened.It had a slight peck in the engine earlier.I pulled one piston out and it looked good.Almost no wear with over 2000 hrs.Is this engine worth rebuilding and what do i need to do? Thanks,john

Hell yeah it's worth re-building! Get a new cam and put it in.
