Starting a lawn service after many requests. Starting out with residential work. What is the going rate, 1/4,1/2,1 acre. Trimming etc.Will be working in Baltimore area. Thanks in advance.

Try to get $40- $50 dollars an hour. I can't give you an acre price, because every acre is different. Trimming usually effects how long a property will take. The more obsticales, tha more trimming.

Charge extra for 'misery factors' such as hills and dog poop.

I work in the Baltimore area and try to get achieve $60-80 per hour in sales. Start with those numbers and work with customer to achieve a workable price.
