Dethatching with strip kit

Should I use the strip kit while dethatching ?

Great question! Although I've not tried using the roller while dethaching it shouldn't hurt anything.

If I had to guess I'd say it would probably be a good thing to leave it on. A lot of lawns can look little ragged after you get done dethaching until the lawn gets a little growth and is re-cut the following week of a few days later. The Striper should help clean up the appearance in addition to adding some additional stripe to the lawn.

I don't see any good reasons why you would take it off. I have never taken mine off!!!
