Yup chop off the grill and head lights and it would be a OK looking truck.

Congrats on a new truck.

Here's another rig Scottie. Our flagship battle cruiser. Can't beat it for hauling crew and mowers.

Here's another for you Scottie. Now the entire fleet is pictured here. This one is the oldest, but quite a work horse.

WOW!!!
The 6.0 engine is quite amazing. A surprising amount of power with what looks to be great MPG. I'm still on the dealer free tank, 187 miles on the odometer, and I have half a tank left.

So right now you are getting roughly 11 MPG if your tank is 34 gal you said 187 at half full so 187 divided by 17Gal .But it still needs time to break in I hope that you will be getting near 18MPG when it's broken in.

You will love the 6.0. I have a 2002 2500HD and I get about 12mpg pulling my trailer. Did my mileage last week and I got 15mpg empty w/23,000 miles. 1 question though, where are the plow frames?:D

Congratulations on your purchase! Sorry, but that is an ugly truck. I am mad at Chevy currently, they had such a good looking truck just a year ago, now its futuristic looking. Ahhh. Oh well. Still a good gas truck.

Darryl, I think are trucks are identicle except fo the paint. I accessorized this week between the ground and the paint.

They do look the same. I almost went with white but that one didn't have the cab lights, which I wanted. Mine's the base model with the work truck package, 6.0 gasser, plow prep, towing equipment and locking rear. I really like it! Lots of power and smooth ride & confortable.

I need to add lettering, a bed liner, tool box and cab steps etc. I'm still using my old 85 for service. The new one is just a spare and for sales calls for now.

Fine lines,
Nice truck you've got there. I noticed the tires on your truck. Did you change them out after you bought the truck? Those look like Cooper tires. Here is a pic of my 2002 Silverado K1500.

Looks fine. But it'd be better with some aftermarket wheels and bigger tires. Nothing huge, just to give it a wider stance and some style. Consider it when it's due for new tires.

I buy and sell Trucks way too much, but always do well anyway because our trucks look so good buyers jump at them. All this truck needs is a set of nice shoes.

Now this red truck, its a good looking truck! put a 6 inch lift of it, some nice big mud tires, it would look awesome. I really like this style, its that new style I dont like.

Thanks Rick, I love my"batman" truck, ...and I have nothing against "blue ovals" either. I don't think I could do one of those trucks with antlers though. :)

Its gonna take a bit of getting used too , especially since i'm a ford guy.. But the new 4500's are growing on me... I drove one a few weeks back, and was very impressed.......But it's gonna be a challenge to get me to go back to Chevy's ..
