Hello Cutter1:

Quote>>All that I want is employees. Ones who are sober, on time, and trust worthy. Am I asking too much?<<

LOL, you better ask for something else, because Santa is already out in fact he's been out of good Employees?

Good Employees are hard to find, do not know answer. I had all kinds of problems at first. Then when I started hiring ones that had transportation & good driving record only. My employee problems really went down. At least this elininates quite a few bad ones in my book. It was also a plus if they had family but those were few & far between.

Then when you do find good employees they are hard to keep, my last 2 years in business, I had the same 4 & they were best crew there was. Of couse I took good care of them, they got Christmas Bonus, tried to take them out to eat at least once a month to nice resturant, payed them 40 hrs. in winter if they worked or not. Main thing they must keep my accounts caught up. It's easy to pay them in winter if you have all year round maintenance contracts.

A Walker GHS with all the possible attachments
A nice big enclosed trailer
And some well paying commercial accounts.

I've been really good this year. I haven't told any customers to take a hike or chewed any dealers or mechanics out either. I'd really like a Redmax backpack blower, a few attachments for my Stihl FS85 trimmer, oh and a Diesel Dixie Chopper would be nice to. I'll leave you some beer and pickled eggs out for you.

Rich

P.S. Santa could you bring me some more high paying accounts in the new year. I'd like a Classen 48" aerator too.

Sorry guys, no offence I hope. All I want for Christmas is for people and businesses to stop using X-mas, drives me nuts. Stores are raking in money from the Christmas holiday but are afraid to leave "Christ" in Christmas. "Happy Holidays", X-mas, & "Seasons Greetings" have replaced the true word - CHRISTMAS.

Oh, I really would like a Kubota diesel tractor.

Dear, Santa
This year I would like Exmark walkbehind, prefferably a 36" floater and a sulky. A new Stihl trimmer would be nice too. I think maybe an extended hedge trimmer would also be a great gift for the holidays. An Exmark Lazer would be nice, but I don't need one, oh well, throw that in there too. The only problem is that I don't know if your elves can actually make these things so I guess you'll have to go out and buy them. No big deal, they're probably run you in the neighborhood of about $10,000, plus all the other guys on lawnsite that want stuff too. I hope you win the Lotto, you're gonna be needin' it this year.:)

P.S.If you bring my Lazer (which you should), please don't land on the roof. Thank you, have a Merry Christmas

What I would like for Christmas is for all LawnSite members to continue to abide by the LawnSite Posting Guidelines, which makes the job of the Moderators of this forum, much easier. BTW, thanks everyone for your emails and IM's of encouraging support.

I could also use a new computer or at least a keyboard for this one. I've about wore out this keyboard. :)
