I picked up a bluebird lawn comber c-18 From a hardware store late last year. It was a former rental, and I didn't get a chance to run it until the weather broke here in the north east. I changed the oil, air filter, fresh gas, new plug. The motor smokes (white ) real bad and the plug will foul after about 15 minutes. any Ideas, Should I be ordering a new motor from northern tool ??

Is the choke stuck on ? or the carb butterfly stuck in a position ?? maybe a air leak making it do that?

:blob3: sounds like you have a piston ring problem. being that you can get a replacement engine for like $300 i would just replace the motor, alot less headaches. tony

Thanks Tony,
I was thinking in that direction, Northern Tool has the motor for about $230.00. So when it gets slow I will replace it.
