New Holland L452 Drive Problem

I have an option to buy an older New Holland L452 that will only drive on one side. i was wondering if anyone would know what the problem may be.

you have to pull off the side cover and check the chain!! in side the cab , by the seat you will see 3 bolts and A and ajusting rod to adjust the chain.



I need to no what fluid goes in there my self ... the same thing just happen to me on my L452
