New Briggs 5.5 OHV Intek Keeps Cutting Out

I just put a replacement 5.5 intek model 120000 on my Bluebird rake and have been having nothing but problems with it. I bought the smaller model for a replacement on another rake last year (model 110000) and its been great.
The problem is that the motor just cuts out for no apparent reason at idle or under load. It can go for 10 mins or die after 2. It always starts right back up afterwards. The problems started after my first oil change. I'm sure this has the oil-gaurd sensor on it. Wondering if too much oil could trip it off or too little if this is the problem. It has the dipstick but I dont trust it. I usually just check at the back of the engine at the fill hole.
Anyways this is driving me nuts any help would be appreciated.

Well its not the low oil shut off because I disconected it and it still dies....Any ideas? I bought the motor in the fall so the warranty is expired.

Hello,

Here's my .02 on it, maybe it'll get in a direction.
1. Coil breaking down with engine heat?
2.Spark plug breaking down,I've had this happen a few times and racked my brain on both of these:rolleyes:
3.trash getting sucked over the pick up tubes in tank?
Maybe these ideas can give you a direction on where else to look. Good luck.
