Customer Appreciation

How many of you guys offer some type of customer appreciation bbq or gathering for your maintenance and landscaping clients?

Nothing along those lines but I do give Christmas cards and a small gift thanking them for their business.

Nothing that fancy for me…. yet. All clients get a holiday greeting card and some of the larger customers get a gift.

I also send holiday cards, birthday cards (when possible), and do 3 direct mail pieces, upcoming year/looking forward to servicing you again, information/tips depending on services, thank you's. I am not sure that a b-que would go over well, because I am not sure all my customers know one another/care to know one another.

I think it's great to show appreciation, but I think small gifts (flowers, cards, etc.) would go over well. However, I could be wrong, and if you do something like a b-bq let us know how it goes.
