84 dodge power wagon stalls at will

I have an 84 dodge power wagon, I just love this truck, but it stalls at will. my mechanic says it's a fuel problem. so far the fuel tank has been dropped twice, the carb rebuilt, the fuel filters changed, new fuel pump, and anything else related to the fuel system. I was wondering if anybody else has ever had a problem with an older dodges fuel system, and what solved the problem

I personally think its an ignition problem, but what do i really know.

Is your float ajusted correct? Those old mopars also had a CDI type box.

I had a similiar problem with my 88 ram with a 318. I would be driving and for no reason it would just cut out. I got screwed taking it to a small shop. They ran all kinds of tests but couldnt pin point the problem. I got frustrated and took it to a Dodge dealership and had a mechanic chek it out there. turned out to be a coil. problem was diagnosed in about 10 minutes.
