Hooking up a"Oil Guard" Sensor?

I have a new Cubcadet Z-force with the Briggs Intek 18Hp V-twin. The Briggs Webb site lists "Oil Guard" as one of it's features. CubCadet opted not to wire it in. The sensor or sending unit is installed without the wiring.
Any suggestion on hooking it up? Is it a pressure sensor or a normaly open dual post fluid contactor?
