lazer ct muffler

I just got a lazer ct yesterday and love it. I have a question for exmark. Can I get a better muffler, like the one on last years hp, and if I can, will it help with the sound level without hurting performance?

Jeff,

First congratulations on your new purchase. The response to the CT has been great.

Second, that is the only muffler Kohler has available for that engine. The muffler used on the HP is for twin cylinder engines.

The good new is that those mufflers historically begin to sound better after they get some hours on them.
