Used 36 Metro HP

I just purchased a used 36 Metro HP for 1100.00. Garage kept and used only on a private residence. This thing still has all the decals and stickers all over it. Super Clean. The guy even had the original high lift blades, mulching kit, and exmark grass catcher attachment with it. I am so excited!!!!

My question is what should I consider servicing before I put it to use......I will be using it on residential accounts. I put the original high lift blades back on it yesterday because the mulch blades were in terrible shape. I am sure he never sharpened or balanced them.

Congratulations!

I'd recommend greasing the machine, servicing the oil and filters as well as checking the PTO or clutching belt adjustment.

If the mulch kit is still on the machine you'll want to get a good set of mulching blades fairly soon. The high lifts can pack the mulch kit pretty quickly if the grass is a little damp.

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal.
