how do i get quickbooks pro to stop showing overdue invoices?

Every day i enter that's day service onto each customers invoice. But it keeps showing the due date as the current date. so hence when i log on the next day it shows all the previuos invoices as late.

Do you mark each invoice as "pending" until you are ready to send the final invoice??/

Set your terms for your customers. QB reads each customers terms to set their status. ie.. Due upon Receipt. overdue next day. Net 30 overdue after 30 days. So check to see how you have your customers set up.

will the terms show up on the invoice when i sent it out to them?

If you want the invoice to show it it can. Or if you don't, it doesn't have to. Your choice.
