Striping roller adjustment

Over the winter I bought a used 2002 Lazer Z that had the striping roller on it. Over the weekend I finally had the opportunity to use it for the 1st time. I am not sure what the previous owner was mowing at, however when I have the deck set a 3” the roller is almost in full contact with the ground. Since I don’t not have any documentation on the striping roller I have 2 questions for you. First, is the roller adjustable? If so, what is the correct distance should the roller be from the ground?

You might want to give this thread a try. If you follow the post's we have a link to a PDF. instruction sheet that would have come with your roller originally.
