Could a moderator fix my name info?
When I logged in tothe exclusive membership area, I answered yes, yes to Lic. & Insd, and it shows up after th eyears in business.
Or tell me how to get back to that page to fix it.
Thanks.

Ok try this.
Go to the member area.
On the home page, look to the right at the last link at the top.
It should say: Update Member Details.
Click on that.
You will be asked to log in.
Enter your screen name and password.
From there you have some choices I believe.
Click on Update profile.
Make your changes.
See if that fixes it for you.
I'm running late this morning, trying to eat a bowl of cereal as I type this. Don't have to time to test it out to see if this is what you need to do, but I think it is.

I want to change mine as well. I did all the steps that you listed above. It wouldn't let me change. Said invalid or incorrect entry, (something like that). Brought me back to the password page.
BTW, I was able to reply this time, maybe the problem is corrected. Thanks.

Is this the page you're talking about? It sure is a login page, but that is a security measure: you need to login again to modify your info so someone who has gained access on your computer cannot modify your membership benefits details without knowing your login information.
Simply login there, and you should be able to update your information with no problem.

Billy,
Do you have cookies enabled? The membership profile system requires this to work.

I went to user options and turned on "cookies"...it was off. But it still does the same thing, same error message.
Greenman, did yours ever work?
I'm on AOL with pop ups blocked, does that matter?..
Thanks.

Do you have cookies enabled in your web browser (vBulletin forum settings are not important in this case)? If so, what browser and OS (with versions) are you using?
Can one of you please e-mail me his password so I can try to reproduce the error? Thanks.

Billy,
I can't find a message from you in my e-mails. What address did you send it to, and what was the sender name/e-mail address? That should allow me to retrieve it.
Thanks,
Pierre-Luc

Sorry guys, due to a mistaken setup from my part I did not receive reply notifications or Billy's e-mails. I have corrected that and retrieved the messages.
I'll work on this issue this afternoon and get back to you as soon as there's an update.

Billy: I just tried your login details and could manage your profile with no problem.
Since the membership system was developed using the PHP standard session features, I do not think that they should be the problem. Are you behind a firewall or a proxy?
It might be a good thing that we walk through this together on AIM or ICQ so I can isolate the bug and correct it ASAP.
I just e-mailed you my contact details on these two IM systems - you can add me to your list(s) and I'll get to you as soon as I'm available.

Pierre-Luc,
I get the exact same thing as Alta. I sent you an email with my password. Did you get it?
Also, how many forums are in the Benefites Area? I thought there were more than two at first, now I only see two.

Greenman: I can log in with no problem with your details as well
Can one of you please contact me via IM so we can walk through this together and I can identify the problem?
Thanks,
Pierre-Luc
Note: if you want me to update your details ASAP, just send them to me and I'll make the changes so you do not have to wait until this issue is resolved
