Our city utilities dept is now giving rebates on making systems more water efficient. Depending on how much the client spends they could get $50-$200 back.
Items are:
New timer with multiple programs and a water budget
Changing heads to ones w/ check valves and/or a PRS system(pressure regulating stem-only allows a small amount of water to flow out if stem or nozzle is damaged)
Rain sensor
They are making progress with getting the program together but I have also heard it is tough to jump through the hoops. I am letting the clients deal with it.
Any other areas have programs installed like this.
