I just wanted to share some pictures of my spraying equipment. I coundn't afford to buy a truck dedicated to spraying so I mounted my sprayer on a 5'x10' trailer using U bolts to attach it to the frame. I have a 150 gallon AG-SPRAY sprayer with a 6.5 HP Briggs, 400' of hose, and a chemlawn gun. Everything cost about 2K....but its paid for including my F150 with an I-6 engine. Well enough rambling..tell me what you think.

looks good to me , that rig will allow you to get a bigger trailer and truck eventually. did you put it together yourself? why 6.5 briggs and stratton? 5.5 is cheaper is better suited for small rig. did the hose cost you alot, and is that an electric hose reel?im putting together a rig but was gonna go electric for noise reduction. i found some quality gas engines for pretty cheap here so iv decided to go gas ,what kind of pump do you have,oh and by the way whats in your tank out of curiosity?

The 6.5 HP Briggs came with the sprayer....I bought it used(1 year old but in mint condition). The hose reel is manual but I plan to upgrade to electric next year. I have a hypro 6500 roller pump. I think they are better than the diaphram pumps for one main reason......MAINTENACE. Maintenance is easy and cheap. Plus, they last a long time. I will show you a picture of the pump.

Here is the pump. And my tank has MSMA and Trimec 992 in it.

A Honda is better, but that irellavent.
Nice rig guy. I bet you can't wait for the electric wind reel, email me I can tell you where for about $400.
I have 525' of synflex hose on mine, but I have a ride on and rarely use the hose.
That was $2k including the trailer? Even just it $2k is pretty good looks like brand new.
Is the roller pump NI Cast? Those Hypro roller pumps are ok for just chem, but spraying wetable powders they wont last long. Also they are good for lawns , but they have low PSI so you can spray big trees.
That's ok you got it to spray lawns anyways, well good luck dude, and show use some lawns you treat.

I must agree Honda is definately better...but hey the Briggs will last a long time. I change the oil once every month and keep it clean. All I spray is flowables so I'm really not to worried about wear and tear on the pump. Yes....I paid 2K for everything. I'll show a few pics next week of some lawns that I treat. Later!

Nice rig. Id say you got it at a good price. Lesco quoted me just over 3K for a 200 gal setup but only 300' hose. Cant remember the engine.

Yours is very similar to mine I have a 200 gal with 4.5 honda with a diaphram punp 300 ft hose elect hose reel mounted on a 5x10 trailer.
I use a deep cycle marine battery for the hose reel, it works great. Just have to charge it every now and then but not as often as you think I have done 40 or 50 full windups and the battery not been down 10%.
