What is a good step up from the hand pump and backpack sprayer? maybe to mix 5-10 gallons at a time. The problem is that alot of the organic ferts that I use for the plants and grass are too thick for hose end sprayers and pump and back packs are too slow for entire lawns and large landscape areas. Also want to use a larger hose to spray heavier than the regular hand pump sprayers...any ideas?

thanks

It's going to be hard for you to get an even application of fertilizers out of a 25 gallon electric sprayer unless you are using a
boom settup with calibrated nozzles.

For spot spraying and shrubbery it will do fine.

Need this for blanketing lawns.

Hey LGF,

I like your rig, this backpack is getting awfully heavy blanket applying momentum and three way (not mixed together) to half acre lawns....

Here's a dumb question.... How do you calibrate the sprayer for speed of travel when spraying? Do you have a spedometer or something? Also, how long does it take ot see results from momentum in cooler weather? Any thoughts?

I use a Perma Green, either I bought a new ZTR for $9000 or the PG for half that.

At first I didn't have a speedo, but put one on real fast.

Momentuim on dandilions is pretty fast, clover takes about 5 days.

The single wide is slower than a back pack. Tedious as he!! on anything but tiny lawns. Spray output is minimal but sufficient. Wonder how they get enough pressure to make the double wide work? pretty substantial gear resistance when pushing too.
use it every once in a while (buddies tool). that's how often I want to use it too.;)
