Walker Gear Box ?

Question is, on the box that the U-Joint shaft connects to has a crack next to the keyway slot. Does anyone know if just that shaft can be replaced or does the whole gearbox have to be replaced? I think that the previous owner left it run too long without replacing the key and the stress on it cracked it. This would be the main gearbox on the deck. Thanks for your advice.

The only internal parts that the dearler will sell are the grears inside,techum. makes the boxes they may offer the shaft, good luck on trying to find a supplier willing to go though that trouble ,other than that go ahead and spend the $135.00 on the new box.good luck.

It naybe the seal since the shaft in question is soild steel
not hollow. check your seal.
