Hi,<br>This season along with all the newbies in the field, I have also noticed a MAJOR increase in the animal population.<p>Here in Minn. we usually are fighting off mosquitoes in waves, not this year. Ive seen more rabbits than skeeters so far. Deer, snakes, squirrels, gophers and nest defending birds have all given me suprises this year. I wouldnt be shocked to see a bear yet, well maybe scared shi_less!<p>This has been near perfect conditions for mowing...must be OK for the critters as well, unless some Viagra has tainted the water table? <p>Anyone else notice this, or am I hallucinating?

I saw my first gopher the other day. Big as a cat hanging around a cemetary. Squirrels are everywhere it seems making for alot of roadkill. Seen a few snakes and many deer. More than usual this year.
