I was wondering what insurance company everyone was using?

Western Reserve Group in Wooster, Ohio. I have a local insurance
guy that wrote my policy with them. I have $1 Mil. commerical liability policy. The Ohio Dept. of Agriculture requires $300,000 to get an applicators license. :) ED

Try a search for insurance.
Who carries your policy depends on what state you are in. When I lived in WV I had a policy with a company there, then when I moved to VA, I had to get a new carrier because they didn't write policies across state lines.
I think you should expect to pay about 600+ for 1,000,000 and 300,000 pretty common state limits.

$889.00 is the new figure from Farmers this year. Thats only a $220.00 increase from last year. Last year it only went up $160.00. Full year premium for insurance on a seasonal business is necessary here because if you are without commercial liability for more than 30 days (even out of season) you will not be re-insured, picked up by another carrier or you will have to pay a $1,000.00 minimum payment. By the way, thats for a million 500 & 500. The state only requires 300,000 here too. To me the guys running the insurance industry are worse than thieves. Bunch of price fixing, political influencing, law requiring, regulation changing crooks, all to the tune of risk, exposure and recovery. But ya gotta have it cause they got the state to say ya gotta have it.
