Has anyone used POR-15 on mowers. Ive used this stuff on old rusted fuel tanks before with good results. Just curious if anyone has tried this.

I have never heard of that.
Is it like seafoam?

Seafoam is an engine treatment. POR-15 is a metal treatment used for neutralizing rust, forming a paint-like coating over it. Only problem is that it fades in sunlight unless you put another product over it.
Lawncare3, how old are you? I dont think your info is correct...

My dad's pool has a metal edging around the top rim. Rust-Oleum wasn't getting it. We got a pint of POR15 That stuff worked real well for that job. The price is kinda of salty $21.00 a pint but I think it was worth it. I wonder how it would hold up on a mower deck myself. The info about it claims to resist chipping. You try it and let us know OK? LOL :D

I have never used it on a mower deck but have had great results using it on an older model Land Cruiser. Great stuff but expensive.
