With all of the rain I will be working this weekend but as I always say rain is a great problem to have. No time off for me, it is time to play catch up.

Sounds like to me your weekend is getting longer and longer.....:D
I am caught up, as of right now. We will see if this rain we have today goes away tomorrow and if the rest of the week stays dry like the weather guessers are guessing!

OK, I'm in Cullman Co.
We have a "A1 Lawncare" here and I thought it might be you.
This weather is crazy. Out of the north one day...from the South the next. I think the front has stalled on us. We should be ready to go on Thursday.

I have been trying like heck to get things done. I landed a huge job and have been fighting with the rain for the past two weeks. Today got a bit of a shower for about an hour. I posted pics in the landscaping forum. Here is the link if you would like to look at my progress.

It should have taken me 4 days to complete it but I am now working on week 2.

Truck goes in Friday for check engine light. Trying to get things up to speed. Have worked every weekend for about two months and hope to take this one off. Heck tired of making a boat payment and not getting to use it

I need to work at least one day out of the three, but which one? The east has rain in the forecast for the next six days.
I cant take much more of this rain.

If you have a JD and Gator blades, you do not need to worry about the rain.

I had a Deere 445 and Im so glad i got my eXmark. The deere cant touch it. Even with doubles.
If I hustle up and knock out 27 (mostly 1 acre lawns) and squeeze in 2 bush/hedge trimming jobs over the next 3 days then I'll take the weekend off.
Two "if's" though:
1) If the rain will stay away long enough....
and...
2) If my back will hold out.
For all of us that have been getting inordinant amounts of rain lately:
Yes, it is a PITA in several ways but just keep telling yourself "I't money in the bank...it's money in the bank...it's money in the bank..."
Still, I wish I could share some of ours with you, ElephantNest!
:D

Brad- No offense (you got me started) but first off I wouldnt be caught dead riding that contraption. Second, If you read my post "14" of Soaking Wet Grass/ Weeds". You would realize that your machine couldnt touch my mower for cutting in rain.
Point is no one wants to cut in the rain especially when its a 40-degree rain. Wet lawns are also damage prone.
