Lazer how much is your local dealer charging and where is he located ? By the way it always helps to know people in the right places, My local dealer wanted $6400 tax/tag/title for the 44in ztr but I knew a wholesaler and got it for $5400 tax/tag/title.

The 44 is a completely different animal.

I personally know the dealer! (Probably 40+ people work there.)

He gets that kinda money out of everybody. I guess that's what happens when you have no/limited competition.

My dealer isn't the cheapest or closest, but they are about the best. They charge about $500 more that a dealer 1.5 miles away from me. But whenever I have a problem, they drop what they are doing and jump right on it. (great mechanics) If it is something that will take longer than a day, they give me a loaner. It's things like this that make the difference. Just try to buy a mail order Lazer and take it to your local dealer and see how fast it gets done!! Money isn't everything, but it can buy alot more.

Our dealer here in Flint Mi. is the same way. 4 stars all the way. They will give you a loaner, even if it's for a little while if you want. They deal in Exmark, Gravely, and Scag. They have gained the best reputation for service for specializing in commercial grounds care. Anyway, I paid $9300 out the door for my Lazer Z EPS with 60" deck, 26 hp. with fuel injection, and oh yeah, a couple of Exmark hats.

Got a quote for $7200 for a 60"/25 Kohler yesterday. That is about as reasonable as I have found to date.

This dealer says they have sold 130 this year, only 6 LC's.

one of my local dealers has a lazar 60" with 22 kawi liquid cooled for 6999. Only reason I haven't bought it,is that the hp is the only one the bagger will fit.

I just bought a Lazer Z 22hp L C Kaw... I paid $8000. with the expensive seat. I beleive everyone should get this option, I'm mowing lawns with a broken back, that seat
really obsorbs the bumps, my Walker & Grasshopper aren't near as comfortable. But the seat costs $489. Test one out you won't be dissapointed.

MJB I recently purchased a Lazer lc 60" and was going to opt for the suspension seat but my dealer recommended trying the standard seat first before spending the extra $$. I also have back pain due my occupation and wouldn't be without a suspension seat on my track equipment at work but the standard Lazer seat seems mighty comfortable to me. Just wondering if you tried the standard seat first and if so how they compare, I still might go for it if it was a lot better.

If I personally were mowing with the machine, I gurantee you I'd be $485 poorer.

Those suspension seats are sooo sweet, you'd think you were riding a Dixie! ;)

Smooth operator:

I tried the normal seat briefly, but I figured if I hit a big bump I would be sorry.

If you are not noticing the bumps with your current seat then keep it. But if you hit some bumpy lawns and it is jaring your back, then the suspension seat is the way to go.
You won't even feel the bumps in your back, anyway.

You might see if the dealer well let you demo a machine with it onit. Just adjust it first so it will have just a little give when you sit down hard on it.
