My 2002 Silverado has Goodyear Wrangler ST's from the factory. They are an ok tire, but I don't believe I will be replacing them with G/Y. If price was no object, I would go with the Michelin LTX series, but of course they are pricey. There is a particular brand of tire that I am impressed with, and I know that you probably haven't heard of it. They are called Nokians, and they are made in Finland. We put a set of them on my company truck (1 ton chevy box truck) at work and they are excellent tires. They are LT 225/75/16 10 ply tires. They handle loads exceptionally well and seem to be wearing very good. The company paid $115/tire for them at the Farmers Co-op. The shop mgr over there told me he thought they were the next best thing to a Michelin. A friend of mine has a set of Nokians on his '99 Suburban 3/4 ton with over 100,000 miles and he said the Nokians are the best tires he's had on the Suburban so far. I am going to give you the link to their website. If you are interested you can check them out and see if you have a dealer located near you. Good luck.

By the way, I checked, they don't make these nokian tires for a F-350 ...FYI. I've had good luck with the goodyears on mine so far (20,000). Guess it's how you load, haul, and city/hwy treatment.

The Nokian Vativa LT 225-75-16 (10 ply) tires that are on my chevy 1 ton company truck are not listed on the website, and I don't know why. I am certain they make a Vativa that will fit an F-350. What size does that 350 take? Around an LT 245-16?
