Since the warm weather started theres been so many new lcos popping up, I decided to count the # of them today.

5 on the way to my first job
10 more through out the day

Only worked a 7 hour day and saw 15 and only a few were lcos I see on a regular basis.

I was parked in front of an account. Just finished up and a old guy parked in front of the house directly across the street. Small street and only left about 6' of open road between us:eek: He then pulls out two 2x6's and props them on the end of the bed (no tailgate) of his 198? s-10. Jumps in the bed and pushes his old Murray lawn tracter out and down the 2x6's she goes!! Ends up 30' down the road in his customers flower bed!! Broke off a small tree and crushed all the flowers. He gives me a wave and jumps on the mower and starts cuttin'. Could not believe my eyes:eek:

Got some real quality ones like that around here too. You have to admit they make your job amusing.

We have over 600 licensed here in my county. Many more weekend warriors and dirt bags who have no license.

There are over 150 licensed pest companies.

And you think you have competition.

Oh, and the population of my county 140,000! That is every man womean and child.

Here is worse.

There are 300 new families mowing in to Denver each day.

That means about 10 new ones each week.

Thought about that but I don't think I'd make any $ from his type of customers:p Had a helper with me that was blowing off the back porch when the dude let his Murray fly and my helper came around the house and said "man, WTF was that?" I started laughin' cause he could here the commotion with an EB-630 strapped to his back going full blast, behind my customers' house across the street! People amaze me every day:rolleyes:

if u only saw 15 in one day,u got it good.
i sat in line at the bank an counted 7 lawn trucks in about 5 minutes.
it was lunch time so that mite not be typical. but its safe to say theres 10 times more, than i use to see in the 80s.
dont have a thing against them ,but i wish they would do something else.
i wuz here first.:)
