ive met, or should i say encountered some really cool people here, and some real fools. some are gone, some remain(hey, i think i heard that in a song somewhere). ive never met anyone from here in person. if u had to pick just one person from here, who would u pick to meet in person, and maybe do a little work with.

Ive meet quit a few people from here .And ive made friends on the instant messenger with many on here.

65 hoss and i instant message each other quite a bit and talk on the phone quite a bit when we both aint busy.

It would be hard as heck to pick just one .I have a freind on the instant messenger chester jm5 his name is gary he dont post a lot .I talk with him on the instant messenger every day this may sound corny but although we have never seen each other eye ball to eye ball he is a dear friend .We talk on the phone all the time he sends pics of his family and i send pics of mine to him.

It would be hard to pick just one from such folks as charles , geo gunn and sls and many many others .

Dont think i could pick just one

So far I met: Scraper, Evan, justalawnguy, chip, TLS, Gogetter, Ray Kirby (happen to be in Charlotte), and a couple more that I can't think of.

From the sounds of things, I wish I had known Eric Elm. I missed out.

At this point, it would be awesome to meet more of the guys from around this area... in the Pacific Northwest - a few are Scag48, Popsicle, Just Turned Pro, and Jim Lewis.

A few other names belonging to guys I'd love to meet - John Gamba, Green Pastures, brucec32, Envy Lawnservice, yourlawnguy, TLS, johnhenry. Oh and BHB - err... "FrankenScag" cuz he's a character and will rip this biz right up when he gets old enough.

There are others that I'm not thinking of right off, but it is late and there is grass to cut in the morning.

John has an awesome idea!

Florida is a wee bit out of the way for me and some of the guysup here, but would most likely be a welcome break from the rains of winter.

Any takers? Now would be the time to start thinking about getting together, so we'd have time to book places, etc.

John - love that red scarf! LOL :D Oh... woops, you're the one on the left.

We should ALL meet in the MOST CENTRAL state in the us (like the one in the middle of the country). Then It would be more fair. Could we leave ULTIMATE LAWN out?

Thanks,

I have to meet lawncare3 too! Ultimate Lawn, the Lawn Choupique, they all have to come too!!! LOL
I wanna meet Envy lawn as well as all the "old timers" like Hoss, rodfather, SLS, Jim Lewis, Jim whats his name Groundkeeper or something (lives in northern IN), PaulJ, etc. could go on and on. I agree we should all get together but not in one corner of the US. Indianapolis IN would be perfect, it's the crossroads of America! We could probably meet at Bill Parrish's (FineLinesLawn) shop there near Indy. Lots of things to do at Indy like the Children's Museum if your kids are coming (it's good), the Indy 500 museum, and lots lots more. Should we do it in middle of December or what? Has to be after fall cleanups and equipment catch-up time but before the holidays and the start of a new season. I think Bill has a few acres of fields near the shop if we wanted to play on his Dixie's he could let it go for us LOL. Oh I guess we better talk to him, but he never gets on here just LF.

I would have liked to know Eric ELM a little better, but nnow that he has passed away, I can't. Otherwise, I'd like to meet LawnGodFather, 65Hoss, MowEd, Odin, and Green Pastures. I look up to these 5 the most.

We always say the expo and GIE, but very few of us ever meet up. I will not be at Louisville this year, the new dates suck. Several of us will be at St. Louis in November for GIE. Better show anyway.

I can't believe I've been called an Old timer. haha.

I want to meet JAA, Jim Lewis, Ray Kirby and several others.
Oh, and Odin is going to buy me a beer and maybe a steak. He just doesn't know it yet. lol.

Meeting up at the GIE sounds good to me. Somebody familiar with the area should pick a landmark site to meet at. I am sure once the time gets closer this will be discussed more into depth....at least I hope. I would like to meet just about anybody from this site, but particularly Jim Lewis, LawnLad, LGF, 65 Hoss and JAA.

Yeah we could meet at Louisville. I think we were gonna do that last year but never worked out a time and place.

I want to meet J-Lo. Hey what is wrong with FL 78 degrees here in winter? Son can't get any better. Plenty of stuff for the kids and you could make it a write off. Yep if there is a convention then you could write it off. They have a big plant expo here in Tampa that would work just fine for that.

Green Pastures - We have talked. Good guy & fellow christian. Good posts.

Sleepyhead - Because I could show him where to fish.

Mickhippy (from Australia) - His posts are a hoot sometimes. Calls his shots as only an Aussie can. Could show him our local breaks.

More hard working guys with thoughtful posts and good advice: Grazzmaster, Runner, 65hoss, Bluesteel, PaulJ, mike9497, Barkleymut, GarPA.

Now to more mundane requests...William F. Buckley Jr.; Margaret Thatcher; Ronald Reagan; Wyatt Erp (wish he was still alive); Tom Clancy...imagine the money this clown makes; Osama ben Laden...then I'd end his time on this planet.
