ive been in the business for 2 yrs and all of my accounts are residential. im looking to sart bidding on commercial properties but i have no clue where to start. any tips or pointers?

I agree with crazygator. Stick to the residentials. They tend to be more loyal customers. I do a few commercials and the always want a new bid each year. I don't run into this w/ residentials, and if you do a quality job the word of mouth will get you all the work you'll ever need. I know as it has worked for me, I'm at the point now that I am turning work down.

There are commercial accounts worth getting. Why drive all over the place to rush and get $900 worth cut in 10-12 hours when you can pull up to an aparment and sit there for 10 hours and make $1000.
