Do you feel the roller makes a big difference?
Does this look like a decent roller and price?

Yes it makes a huge difference.

The stripe roller is the best addition I have made on my Lazer. It really defines the stripes and makes my work really stand out. I wouldn't own a Lazer without it. Another plus is it is a giant anti-scalp roller too.

It makes a big difference, - just not a $300 difference. If I was going to do it all over again, I would just make my own with chains across the back. Besides, I like what you can do with chains that you can't do with a striping roller.

This Is My front Lawn This spring, You Tell Me.

I like mine! Mostly because of the rear anti-scalp, and extra trimming ability due to getting rid of the rear anti-scalp wheels.

Bought my striping kit off ebay for 200 bucks a month ago. Best money ever spent. Some say you can't sell stripes but don't agree. Ever since I started striping I have had more calls and referals than ever before. Most have a current service but want to swich to me for the stripes.

I too have noticed people notice the stripes and often comment on them, those that don't I can tell they notice and like them but don't say anything lol.

FrankenScag - You've got a Lazer now! When did that happen? Congratulations!
06-15-2003, 01:54 AM
Didn't you know? He sold the 52" W/B and the 60" STHM for $6500, then the Toro homemade W/B for $500. That'll get him a baby lazer. LMAO  Sorry Eric, too perfect!

Are the ones sold on Ebay Exmark OEM or are they aftermarket?
07-05-2003, 12:27 AM
To tell you the truth.. I'm not sure but I believe it's after market.
It is not junk though.. heavy duty piece of hardware.

eXmark no longer buys the EZ Striper from York Sheet Metal. Seems that they decided to just take the striper for themselves and cut the designer and maker right out of the picture. Nice Company !

If you don't have a roller, IMO you aint really striping. Yes their are other mods that will make stripes real nice. But IMO there is no comparison to a stock machine without a roller and one that has one.
