Kaw25 Oil Filter

Does anyone know if there is an automotive filter that will work on this engine? Nearest dealer is some ways away. Would be easier to replace the oil filter with true "automotive filter" that would cross reference correctly.

Hastings filter # LF410....This also fits the 20 HP Kohler....

Actually, last night I went around looking for a Purolator One filter. After some searching I found it. On the back of the box it cross refences the other filter types. BTW, the regular Purolator filter is the same number without the P. So it's L14476.

Napa #1348. Wix # 51348. Both filters are rated at 19 mircons and stock filter is only 40 microns. The Wix filter is 10% bigger, too.

If you get in a tight fix, heaven forbid, you can pick one up at the John Deere place for 6.17 each. For the hustler guy, what is the best filter to run on the 25 Kaw?
