I have a lesco 48" that originally had a 14hp kawasaki engine, probably FC420V. I'm thinking of repowering with FH500V. Will this work? What changes will I need to make?

Everything is identical except for the throttle controls. You will probably need a new cable. Except for that it's a direct and simple swap.

What's different about the throttle?

The throttle controls are on the front of the engine and not the side like the 14. You may need a longer cable.
