I am going to break down and get an OCDC. Has anyone used the qwikchute and the director? Which one did you like better? Comments on both units appreciated. This is for a 60" Lazer.

I Like The Qwickchute Never used the Other on.

I like the Qwikchute on my Hustler Z. It is simple to bolt on. Simple to use.
Mechanical operation....NO electrics to wear out or to wire up.
Easy installation.

239. tax and shipping included.

Couldn't MasterChute make one without a motor? I can't see spending $350.00-400.00 just to use my foot or fingers. Seems to me LOTS of them would sell if they were cheaper, a manualy operated one.

Thanks for the suggestion.
We do in fact build manual ones, too, we just don't have them listed on our website and have chosen not to promote them right now.

The reason why we like the automated are:
1.) It's faster
2.) It's more convienient
3.) It's gets used more, making it easy for operators to do a beautiful job.
4.) It keeps the opertors hands on the controls at all times.

We think of it like:
crank windows vs. electric.
belt drive vs. hydro.
spade vs. gas edger.

I installed a Director on my Exmark LZHP and love it. I haven't used any others, so I can't comment on them. I just know that I would never be without an OCDC, and the Director is well built and works very well......simple and sturdy design.

Do they make The Director for walk behinds. I am looking for one for an Exmark TurfTracer HP 48. What is their web address if they have one?

ezchute makes an ocdc for Exmark walkbehinds. They do have a website. Try ezchute.com

I'd post their URL, but I was reprimanded

MasterForm, how much are the non-motorized ones? And thanks for the replies.

We've custom fabricated them to function on a given machine, we don't mass-produce them and have them available for same-day shipping as with our other units. We do have most all of the components in stock for assembly.

That being said, we don't have a listed price for them, but if you could e-mail me with the year/make/model of your mower, I could send you a pic and a price quote.

Has anyone ever used the Trimmer Trap Blade Blocker?

Anyone else have any comments? I am leaning toward the qwikchute right now. Anyone have anything bad to say about it? If they had a 1-800 number it would be nice. I am going to order something by the weekend. Any more input appreciated. Thanks
