I got a pair of gator blades, and i was wondering if they were better for mulching than other blades? and also i want to mulch the grass but the grass is being shot out, do i have to buy an attachment to mulch the grass up? also how do u i sharpen the gator blades because of the diffrence of shape?

On my Kubota, there are metal inserts that go up under the deck for mulching. They are inserted so the grass doesn't exit the deck. Can't help on the gator blades.

Gator blades just help with mulching.
The clippings come out smaller.
They sharpen just the same as other blades.
I save mine by mounting them as double blades with the gators on top. They seem to mulch better that way too.
