I have been wondering what you guys use to send your customers for the bill of sales. I have everything else but that, and i dont want to look unproffesional by having some handtyped unproffesional slop. Do you guys get the generic type bills from office depot or do you have your own typed up stuff? If you do can i take a peek? =) Thanks alot,
Chris

Didn't know what a computer was until last December. Now I have made a real nice invoice using Microsoft Word. It didn't happen overnight but it eventually came out real good. I photostat the original into many copies and send them out for monthly billing. Oh, you have to have a printer to do this.

Quicken Home and Business. Affordable and perfect for a small business. I.E. No employees or payroll. You can add your logo from JPEG or BMP and fold it right so it fits in a window envelope. Make your own categories and it can collect tax too. Good Luck.

We have used NEBS for years. Their customer service is top notch. They sent me a letter after we got slamed by hurricane Andrew. Free restocking of any NEBS products that was damaged.

Clip with statements from NEBS.
I have nebs forms, quickbooks, and will be purchasing lawnmonkey in the near future. I just cant make up my mind, but the quickbooks link with lawnmonkey looks very good. i shouldn't have any problem with any book keeping. I think I am gonna buy the palm computer software as well.

Hey All,
I'm planning to start using NEBS forms w/ Forms Magic Deluxe for my proposals & invoices starting w/ October billing. What I want to know is if anyone has had a logo designed by NEBS, and if they think that's a good way to go?

Excel Invoice works for us. No adding required. The invoice auto totals as you add services or products. With the company logo and automatic calculations for sales tax, it's great.

Quickbooks. I keep my invoices simple with no logo/artwork. Prints a lot faster that way and I can use regular printer paper. Envelopes with windows also save time....just fold, stuff and stamp.

I use quickbooks. Spend a little money and get a nice letterhead with a couple colors in a logo done at a local print shop. Run it through Quickbooks for all your bills, qoutes, etc, looks great!
Set it up right and you'll do taxes in a few minutes, know exactally where your money goes and how profitable each area of your biz is.

Does quickbooks pro have a option to print out envelopes?>
Mark
I usually just write what they owe me at the end of the month on a napkin and wad it up and throw it in there mailbox. They really like this process and I recommend it to anyone who will listen.

I am still using Quickbooks Pro 99. It does not print envelopes, but it does print labels from you customer list. You can also set it up to use a two window envelope that would show the address of the customer for mailing.
Quickbooks Pro 2000 might do more?
