What are the good and bad points of the Kohler's and how do they compare to the Kawi's

kohlors are good engines,they have been around a long time. but kawis are good engines also,they have more torque than kohlors,cant go wrong with either one.

Thanks for the reply lawnrangers and one more thing what do you guys think of a Lazer Z CT 18hp Kohler my dealer has it for $5200 and it has a 48" deck i'm also looking at the walks i was told $4200 to $4800 does this sound right

The CT is more for homeowners than commercial cutters

:) Fourteen yrs in the Business and Kohler has been with me all the way , very good engines. Check out the search on the 2000hr club, Kohler rules that one.....Marks Mowing Service

I HAVE HAD BOTH, NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH EITHER.

I have older Gravely that is just used for rough mowing and it has a 12HP Kohler that was made in 1973 and it is still running strong!.

I had a 15 HP Kohler on a JD Lawn Tractor no problems, my new 27 HP Kohler on my Lazer Z also is trouble free.

I use a 13hp Kohler on my 32" and it runs so smooth compared to my Briggs
