Kohler vs. Kubota, air vs. liquid

I am in the process of buying a new mower but need some help on a few things.

This mower will not be used often, mostly just at home. I want power to run a 60" snow thrower also.

Is the Kubota 25hp liquid worth $900 more than the Kohler 27hp liquid?

Or should I just settle for an air cooled Kohler 25hp for $1,700 less than the Kubota?

Options: Kohler 25 hp air

Kohler 27hp liquid + $800

Kubota 25hp liquid + $900 ($1700 total)


Please advise on quality !

What kind of machine would have the option of Kohler or Kubota and be able to handle a 60" snowthrower.
Or are they different machines?

Thats a big snowblower!

Sounds like one of those tractor type things to me!

Homeowner use.....WINTER use.....GASOLINE would probably suit you just fine.

I have these options on a Grasshopper (front mount).

I am thinking of the 60" blower because the 48" is too narrow to blow a path for the tractor to fit!

Seems to me that this may be overkill for my own yard!

One thing I have learned the hard way, is make sure the dealer will be around after the sale. ;)
