View Full Version : 15" Toro tire dilema

I need a little help on this one. I'm trying to buy a replacement set of 15 x 6.00-6 tires for my Toro wb. The problem is, I ordered a set that say 15 6-6 on the side, but are way smaller in diameter. The original tires measure about 14 3/4" diameter and have a high square sidewall, the ones I just got are only about 14" with a low profile sidewall. This is throwing off my cutting height and giving me a reverse blade pitch. Local dealers weren't much help. Anybody know where I can get the tires I need, and how are you supposed to know what you are getting if they all say the same size but are obviously different?

I ordered a set from RCPW for my 36" and they fit good. I think they about $20.00 each.

R08-346 is the catolog number one the ones you need. I looked them up and they are $19.22 each. I have had good luck with them. Just ordered a Tecumseh Tranny from them.

Here's a link to a tire distributor that may be able to identify the problem: http://shop.cedarrapidstire.com/
