Fabbing up a twin turbo system for my Dixie 50 hp diesel. After I get the two pipes to work I will turn up the 3 plunger fuel pump. SHOULD get about 68 horses out of it with the same EGT or better. Work for the Dodge. That thing (the pick up) dyno'ed 504 and over 1000 foot pounds of torque at Muncie last year, so we will see.

Simple. If it's belt drive change the pulley's. If it's a hydro just increase the pump throw. Most WB hydro's don't run full pump throw because with pistol grips, the throw is too far most guy's to span with their hands.

Just a thought. I tell my employees that speed is not realized by moving faster. Speed is realized by moving more efficiently

Those Cummins can produce an amazing amount of hp/torque when set up.

Olderthandirt.

Wet grass, tall grass and double Hi Lifts.

I NEED the torque

I WANT the hp:D

Why do I have a 500 hp pick up?

Because 700 hp flattens bearings, that's why!

You said it, man! Guess what numbers the Schied pulling truck is making on a consistent basis?

1000 hp and 1800 torque. EGTs around 1600 degrees and 140 psi of boost! And at Jessup the towing rig(New 2003) set a code in the ECM so they put it on the trailer and guess what pulled it back home?

It's a B*$#th to start with it's 10 to 1 compression, though. 2 cans of fluid.:D

I sped up both my Gravely gear walkbehind and my Dixie. I went from 13" tires to 15" tires and picked up 1.5 mph on the Gravely. I went from 23" tires to 25" tires on my Dixie. It went from 9.5 mph to about 11.25 mph at 3600 RPM. If I crank the Dixie up to 3800 RPM it's going about 12-1/2 to 13 mph. And yes, I do have occasion where I can cut grass going that fast. It really ticks my buddy with the Lazer Z off when I go blowing by him.

Encore Mfg has a prowler midmount 60" which they only use for display/demo/fun purposes and its top speed is 39 mph. The mower is standard stock - you can take it and go mow with it. They beefed up a few things to get some speed out of it. They did some changes on wheel motors and pumps, the muffler (it sounds better than a Raptor quad) and a foot gas pedal like you have in your car. Steering is with the standard handle bars as on all the Z mowers. The engine is the same old Kawasaki 27 hp L/C.
They require you put on a safety helmet when driving it. You can imagine making a z turn at 39 mph.
The idea came from the local lawn mower manufacturers here to have a lawn mower race and they were the only ones that showed up with an entry. This beast is real fun and not everybody wants to get on it and drive it. At 39 mph it's scary!
