anyone know the best way to break into the tree cutting business?

i was thinking about branching off into the tree business. it seems like a great way to make money. I like climbing trees, but i dont really know about knots, and the different techniques they use to bring down trees. how do i learn? should i just hire someone that knows? thanks for the input.

After you learn how to climb and cut down trees without killing yourself or others you'll need equipment. For saws, climbing gear, ropes and such you'll spend a grand plus..easy. A truck and a chipper are a must if you want to make a profit and don't even think about going without insurance. Also, make sure you're insured is for tree work specifically!!
