we need rain bad here. We had 21 scheduled lawns for the day, and we only did 6 because of how dry they were, 3 were iffers but we decided to wait on them. We might get some rain tonight, but doesn't look promising.

Anybody else having a major problem with the drying up conditions?

we don't have a problem with here in the east, we're just drying up which is a good thing. the local Golf Course has been closed for 3 days due to flooding.

Oh man, we have just been missed by all the rain. We have had .8" of rain since May 12.

I am sure you saw the thread of my fried lawns. Things will get way worse if we do not get the rain they are talking about on Thurs.

Stop all this nasty talk! It's contagious, I had a bad case of this last year.

Dry as a popcorn fart here in Genesee County. Most of my accounts have irrigation which really helps. It is smoldering today. 92 degrees I believe. I was up on Torch Lake this weekend and got a few inches over night on Sunday, but that doesn't do ME any good. We need it down here

I would love to get into the market on Touch Lake...lots of money there. Most property, not houses included there go for over 1/2 million or more.

Haha, not here, and definitely, not for you Rhett.

Getting dry here too, and we have had a record breaking May and June rainfall. Temps been in the 90s all week, with heat index over 100. My poor fescue!

Well I mowed a whopping 17.5 hrs this week, here it is Wed and I am done mowing (normal route is 35 hrs)

Oh well it will give me a chance to catch up on maintenance.

They said the rain coming this way will most likely fall apart. We will be lucky to get .25" out of it.....

Thank goodness for season contracts.

Up until this last week, I haven't been able to stay caught up because of all the rain days. Last week or so has been hot and dry, but many of my lawns are still fine. I wouldn't mind a bit of a slow down, with all the crazy days and hours I've been working. NO DROUGHTS though!

Looks like a few days of rain and cooler weather ahead, though.

:D

Forecast calls for rain and T-storms through next week. I just don't trust the weather channel anymore. They are wrong wayyyyyy too much.

Teidman - I wish that place on Torch was mine, but it is my girlfriends' parents place. We love going up there though. It is the cleanest lake I have ever seen! Not to mention that it's 22 miles long. We went into Traverse too, oh man, Macinaw Brewing Company has the best micro beer I have ever tasted. If you make it up there, I advise you visit.........It's in DownTown
