Has anyone done this?
Is it more efficient than just walking with it?
I walk with it on 4, and I can't imagine it being faster on 5 while carrying me. Any thoughts?

How many picture do you want to see of sulkies on them?

I bet there are over 100 on here with that same mower.

You have been on here for almost a year and still walk behind your mower?

Fourstar, I have a Metro 36 with a jungle wheels sulky. I love it! I walked behind mine for 2-3 weeks before I bought the sulky. I can't walk behind mine in 4th gear ,(It' rough getting old) but riding in any gear is no problem. It will make you more productive once you get used to it.

LGF, you make me laugh ...crank us up...:-)
Oh, well, Four Star, I don't know where have you been, but I 've got the same mower and yes, again, it will be twice more productive than your walking pace can do. Go to J. Thomas and order a 2-wheeled sulky or get a Jungle Jim brand, then you will be set.
Don't forget to move your drive springs bolts down to B or C position.
It rocks!!

Hey, I have been at this for two years this time and still walk all of my yards. If I mowed my grass any faster I would have to double or triple cut. Over thirty accounts now and over 40 myself, can tell you that a sulky is looking pretty good. And yes a 36 metro, with a 12.5 will pull you but the cut will suffer. At least if the poor thing is puling 230lbs

my 32 metro to the right of the pic has a sulky on it.works fine

I 've got the same engine 12.5 Kawi but mine is 36'. It 's been my trusted machine as best as stihl equipment I've got. I hope I make as much profit as I can before it quits...:-) Rain, sun, heat, dirt..etc ...been really a great mower.

I have a 36 with 11 hp honda and it is great for me. Most definitely more efficient.

Be careful with the low branches and turning away from a wall. it'll take the skin right off your elbow the first time. LOL
