Can you mix Drive 75 and a Selective herbicide to kill both of these weeds? There are almost no weeds in the middle of my lawn, just along the curbs where the grass is thinner. I have heard that Drive will kill both crabgrass and some weeds at the same time??

I'm getting good results using Trimec plus for the same problems.

Trimec Plus killing crabgrass??? I thought it was only a broadleaf herbicide? At the course for broadleaf herbicide I am using Altrazine 4L, used to have Trimec, but I've never heard of Trimec Plus killing crabgrass?

Trimec Plus is a post-emergent grass and broadleaf herbicide.

Trimec Plus does work on both I believe it has MSMA a one of its active components. I've used it in the past and does work decent but can be hot when temps and stress peak out.

OK I can't help it but I'm from Canada and am wondering what is in Trimec. Is it similar to our Killex which has Dicamba, Mecoprop and 2,4-d in it? If so could you give me the rates?

First you need to follow the labeling for any herbicide. If and only if Killex is = to Lesco's 3 way, I use 1. oz / 1000 sq ft. when relative humidity is low and temp is
is below 90 degrees (on warm season turf)

Trimec Plus is an excellent broad-spectrum herbicide that controls broadleaves, crabgrass, and nutsedge too. However, it is very temperature sensitive, and I wouldn't use it after late spring in our area.

We use Drive tank-mixed with a 3-way in summer months. Spot- sprays have had no detrimental effects on desirable turf, and are quite effective.....

IF YOU READ THE LABEL, DRIVE HERBICIDE TAKES CARE OF BOTH
WEEDS BY ITSELF. SAVE SOME MONEY AND APPLY IT BY ITSELF.
