Chemicals and temperatures

It was included in my college classes that chemicals like Tri-mec and similar ones, are really nasty to Grapes and Deodar Cedars, especially with drift and temperatures moving above 80 to 85 degrees.

Do you folks select chemmies to avoid this kind of thing? Or do you work within certain temperature ranges?

Do you see big "outfits" ignore that principle?

I select and apply chemicals at temps and weather conditions that are optimum for control of target pest. Accordingly, I avoid applying most chemicals during periods of temp extremes. Yes, I see larger companies, i.e. TGCL, amongst others, apply chemicals as it suits their schedules, irregarless of environmental conditions
